First opening its doors in 1959, New York’s 13th best high school is Jericho Senior High School. The AP program allows students to take rigorous college-level courses and earn college credit for their performance. At Jericho Senior High School, 96% of juniors and seniors take at least one AP exam. There are a total of 68% pupils from minority backgrounds, and 13% from low-income families.
